Where the animated character Hiccup comes from with all the snow around keeping ice cream from melting should not really be much of a chore. However, with fire breathing dragons around maybe keeping ice cream in it's solid, ready to eat state, is not as easy as I think. There is no doubt that ice cream is one of the nicest things you can have, at a birthday party or to keep cool in the summer. It is possible to eat ice cream at any time and any place, the beach at home or in an ice cream stand, even more than once a day, if you're an ice cream lover like me.
While ice cream is always fun to have outside, there is a very nice possibly of making the ice cream at home and enjoy an ice cream flavor you choose or even invent. As a parent and birthday party planner if you're still thinking to yourself I don't have time for this let me shared with you my experience making ice cream for the first time. I had planned to prepare my ice cream on Saturday or any free day, then with my grandkids around and my daily business and home activities over, I gathered my grandkids and open the recipe book to find some ideas about how to use the ice cream maker. It was suggested that we Google for ideas so we did a Google search. After a successful search that produced much good looking ice cream making ideas, we were off to shop to get everything we need.
When we got back (me plus two grandkids) everyone picks out a task and the ice cream making starts, we made about 2 batches of chocolate and vanilla ice cream and with keen anticipation place them in the freezer.
