Marvin the Martian



Created by Chuck Jones Marvin (the Martian) first appeared in 1948 B.C. (Before Cable television) He joined Yosemite Sam, Porky Pig, and a long list of rabbit hunters out to get my favorite cartoon hero Bugs Bunny. To me Marvin the Martian will always be best remembered for his regular attempts to destroy the planet earth. Now that I think about it, it was always Marvin's calm-cool-and collected soft-spoken, even,  polite determination to blow up the earth that made me smile as a kid.
